Jakarta down 1.65%
share prices closed 1.65 percent lower yesterday as foreign investors sold select blue chip stocks, triggering heavy selling in the broader market, dealers said.
The Jakarta Stock Exchange composite index closed down 17.047 points at 1,015.478, on volume of 2.17 billion shares worth 1.83 trillion rupiah (US$196.66 million). The index had hit a record high of 1,032.525 on Friday.
Declines led advances 109 to 29 while 55 stocks were unchanged....
