Hana posts 30% profit rise in Q2
Hana Microelectronics Pcl, Thailand's largest listed assembler of memory chips, said second-quarter profit rose 30 percent as demand increased for its products. Net income climbed to 573.4 million baht ($15 million), or 0.69 baht a share, in the quarter ended June, from 442.4 million baht, or 0.55 a share a year earlier, according to a company filing with the Thai stock exchange today. Sales rose 29 percent to 3.67 billion baht from 2.85 billion baht. Cost of sales rose to 2.92 billion baht......
