Lacy knocks out Pemberton
STATELINE - American Jeff Lacy remained unbeaten and kept his International Boxing Federation super middleweight title here Saturday with a second-round knockout of compatriot Scott Pemberton.
Lacy, who improved to 21-0 with 17 wins by knockout, made the fourth defence of the 168-pound (76.2 kg) crown he captured 13 months ago by stopping Syd Vanderpool in eight rounds.
Pemberton, fifth in the IBF rankings, fell to 29-4-1.
