Government revenue rises 1.4% on higher taxes
revenue from tax collections, profits of state companies and other income rose 1.4 percent in November, boosted by higher corporate earnings and personal income, the finance ministry said.
Total revenue last month rose to 98.9 billion baht ($2.4 billion) from 97.5 billion baht in the same month a year earlier, the ministry said in an e-mailed statement in Bangkok yesterday.
The receipts were 2.1 percent higher than the ministry's target of 96.9 billion baht, it said.
