ITV triples profit on ad sales
ITV Plc, a Thai television network controlled by Prime Minister Thaksin Shinawatra's family, said profit in the third quarter more than tripled as air time sales for advertising rose.
Net income rose to 168.5 million baht ($4.1 million), or 0.14 baht a share, from 50 million baht, or 0.04 baht a share, a year earlier, the company said yesterday in a statement to the stock exchange in Bangkok. Advertising sales rose 28 percent to 576.4 million baht, from 449.2 million baht a year earlier.......
