Energy minister insists on giving up LPG price subsidy
BANGKOK, Dec 28 - Energy Minister Piyasvasti Amranand on Thursday insisted the State Oil Fund would give up a price subsidy on liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) next year to reduce its financial burdens. He said the decision to end the LPG price subsidy was made because the number of public buses and personal cars, which turn to install LPG kits, increased by up to 50 per cent this year.
