BANGKOK, Nov 16 - Bank of Thailand Gov. Tarisa Watanagase on Wednesday renewed the central bank's commitment to implement its policies independently and without political interference.
She said the central bank still serves as the country's economic cornerstone, but stands ready to re-examine its fiscal policies if its implementation appear to lack discipline and goes against the government's monetary policies.
