Bonds gain after BoT comment

Bonds rose, ending a two- day drop, after the central bank said economic growth slowed, boosting speculation policy makers will leave interest rates on hold for the rest of this year.
The yield on 10-year bonds dropped to near a six-week low as the central bank said the economy expanded between 4.7 and 4.8 percent in the three months ended June 30 from a year earlier, down from 6 percent the quarter before.
The Bank of Thailand, which next reviews rates on September 6, kept borrowing costs...
