Gov't urged to promote savings, invest in key projects

PATTAYA, Dec 9 - Narongchai Akrasanee, chairman of the Export-Import Bank of Thailand, warned on Saturday that the government should encourage more savings in the country and invest only in important projects in order to avoid a repetition of the financial crisis which hit Thailand in 1997.
