BoT says fund inflows not excessive

Short-term foreign funds flowing into Thailand rose this week, but not to a worrying level requiring the central bank to act, Bank of Thailand Governor Pridiyathorn Devakula said on Thursday.
The central bank would weigh both inflationary pressure and Thai economic growth when it reviews its policy rate on December 15, he told reporters.
Some analysts said his remarks raised the possibility the bank could leave policy rates unchanged in December after raising them in August and October.
