Companies spent 4.5% more on advertising in November

Thailand's advertising expenditure in November rose 4.5 percent from a year earlier as companies including the local unit of Unilever and Toyota spent more to promote their goods.
Total advertising spending last month rose to 7.88 billion baht ($192 million), Nielsen Media Research said in an e-mailed statement late yesterday. Advertising spending was higher than in October, when it expanded 3.9 percent to 7.73 billion baht, according to Nielsen.
