PORTLAND, Oregon - Floyd Mayweather moved up in style on Saturday, posting a sixth-round knockout of Sharmba Mitchell in his first fight at welterweight.
Mayweather, the World Boxing Council junior welterweight champion who is considered by many to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world, dominated Mitchell from the opening bell with his superior hand speed.
He remained undefeated, improving to 35-0 with 24 knockouts.
