Bangkok Feb. 11: Several international millionaires gathered at a Bangkok restaurant to enjoy exquisite fine dining, with a meal priced at nearly $25,000 per diner.

The big spenders ate a multi-course meal prepared by six international three-star Michelin chefs at an event called "Epicurean Masters of the World," Sky News reported.

The meal from Beluga caviar to Dom Perignon sorbet also featured $195,000 worth of wine.

Celebrated Paris chef Alain Soliveres called the event "surreal," as he produced his trademark dish of creme brulee of foie gras.

The extravagant culinary event seemed extremely out of place in Bangkok, Sky News said, where an average schoolteacher would have to work five years to earn enough money for a seat at the ritzy dinner table.
