At the Extraordinary General Meeting of shareholders No.1/2007 of
Standard Chartered Bank (Thai) Public Company Limited (SCBT),the meeting
approved the voluntary delisting of its securities from the Stock Exchange of
Thailand (SET).At present,Standard Chartered Bank has made an offer for all
SCBT's securities consisting of common share at THB 22 per share. This offer
stands for 45 business days,being from July 25, 2007 through September 27,2007.
The Stock Exchange of Thailand (SET) would like to inform shareholders
of SCBT, who intend to sale these securities to Standard Chartered Bank, to
commit the transaction within the tender offer period's deadline of September
27, 2007.After receiving the results of tender offer within 5 business days,
the SET will announce SCBT's delisting. SCBT will then be officially delisted
7 days later.
