share prices closed 1.17 percent higher for yet another record finish as continued support for the banks and blue chips saw the market briefly top the historic 1,000 points level, dealers said.
The Jakarta Stock Exchange composite index closed up 11.499 points at a record of 997.698, off an intra-day high of 1,003.503.
Volume was 4.50 billion shares worth 2.84 trillion rupiah (US$315 million).
