share prices closed 0.18 percent higher, finding support after the government announced it may sell a further 20 percent stake in Bank Permata, dealers said.
The Jakarta Stock Exchange composite index closed up 1.791 points at 983.198. Volume was 1.67 billion shares worth 960 billion rupiah (US$106 million). Advancers led decliners 55 to 50, while 94 shares were unchanged.
