share prices closed 0.16 percent lower yesterday following sharp falls in Macau-related stocks, with rotational buying of select blue chips helping to limit losses, dealers said.
The key Hang Seng Index closed down 22.14 points at 13,509.25, off a low of 13,455.31 and a high of 13,649.43 and on turnover of HK$19.46 billion (US$2.5 billion).
The Hang Seng China Enterprises Index of locally traded China stocks was down 2.08 points or 0.05 percent at 4,545.85.
