share prices closed 0.31 percent lower yesterday as traders took profit in pulp and paper firm Indah Kiat, with market heavyweight Telkom also down on extended profit-taking, dealers said.
The Jakarta Stock Exchange composite index was down 3.095 points at 1,008.578 on volume of 1.65 billion shares valued at 1.33 trillion rupiah (US$143.32 million).
Decliners led advancers 75 to 42, while 78 stocks were unchanged.
